Bio: Jonathan is a philosophy Ph.D. candidate at The Graduate Center, CUNY, a Humanities Alliance Teaching Fellow, and a fellow at the Center for Place, Culture, and Politics. His research focuses on social and political philosophy, especially the issues of democratic theory, immigration, indigenous peoples, and ecological self-determination. He is also interested in how to address various forms of oppression and disparities in one's teaching at the community college level and higher education more generally.
