Bio: Susan Jacobowitz, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the English Department at Queensborough Community College, CUNY. She earned her doctorate at Brandeis University. Her research areas include second-generation literature including graphic texts and performance art, intergenerational transmission of trauma, and conflicts and challenges of Jewish identity. Her scholarship has been published in Australia, the United States, Germany, Brazil, Israel, and India.
