Bio: Michelle Pacht is a Professor of English at LaGuardia Community College. She served as the Writing and Literature Major Program Director for eight years and helped create the articulation agreement with John Jay College. She teaches a range of literature and composition courses and is a member of the Writing and Literature committee and Advising Team. Her research focuses on the American short story and how genre is used to raise questions about notions of identity, history, and place.
